Electronic Design has posted some photos and a short article describing the action at last month's FIRST championship held in the Georgia Dome in Atlanta. 292 FIRST teams from 26 regional contests competed in the event, which took place in a much larger competition arena than last year. This year's rules also required the robots to perform autonomously during a portion of the event.
