DARPA has released the proposed rules (PDF format) for the DARPA Grand Challenge 2005. This time around teams will be required to submit a video demonstration of their robot. Perhaps this will cut down on teams that show up at the final event with a DOA robot. No indication if they will reduce the excessive number of way points used in the first event.
