AIBO ERS-7M2 Hipper, Faster, more Expensive

Focuspeck writes; Sony has announced that it has bred the newest model of the robotic dog AIBO, and says it will be available in the US in November. The new AIBO features the ability to play digital music, record video, take pictures and respond to 100+ words or phrases. The robot's tricks include a house sitting mode (record time lapse video), play mode (fetch bone or ball) and a new scheduler mode that works with Microsoft Outlook to inform you of your appointments. Tactile touch sensors on the back, head, and chin also allow for more organic interaction, and also contribute to its growth development. It also has a hipper look and faster response times. The new AIBO will cost about $1,899 ($100 more then last years model). I think that the new model doesn't provide any advantadge for AI research using that robot. Anybody can confirm it?.

Yes , ur right , its just some code fixes , some enhancements added and no new major improvement , so no hope for ur Ai ! - Pulkit
