Doug Chiang Studios and Apple have released a QuickTime Teaser Trailer clip of Robota Reign of Machines. I'm not sure if this will ever be a full length movie but rather it appears to be released in 2002 as a book in film format (whatever that means). At any rate the artwork looks superb and the story very enticing. The premise is that in the future the world is ruled by robots but a rag tag group tries to save what's left of humanity.
