Chris McAvoy has developed a Linux-based robotic cat feeder that was written up in Linux Journal a while back. Chris combined a web server, some Python coding, a BASIC Stamp, an R/C servo, and a pile of stinky little fish treats to create a web interface where you can click a button to feed the cats. And given how many treats have been dispensed already, those must be some really fat cats!
