The RoboNexus conference and expo starts Tomorrow and runs through Oct 9. There will be dozens of well-known speakers such as David Calkins, Joanne Pransky, and Colin Angle. Most major vendors of robots, kits, and components will be there as well. I'll be heading out that way tomorrow to dig up some interesting news. A few stories are already turning up such as the announcement of the new High Energy Smart Battery by Inspired Energy. Their new battery module is designed specifically for the needs of AUVs. It was also recently announced that the KISS Institute for Practical Robotics will be conducting hands-on Botball demonstrations at Robonexus on the 7th, 8th, and 9th.
