The 2006 APEC Micromouse Competition

Posted 21 Mar 2006 at 18:36 UTC by steve Share This

The 2006 APEC Micromouse Competition was held last night at the Hyatt Regency in Dallas, Texas as part of the 2006 Applied Power Electronics Conference. The event draws Micromouse builders from around the world. The competition consists of a 10 foot by 10 foot square maze. Robots must navigate from the outside to the center of the maze in the shortest possible time (see the Micromouse rules for more details). Last night's event drew quite a crowd and featured some very fast robots that completed the maze in just 7 to 8 seconds. I took a few 2006 APEC Micromouse photos to give you an idea of what goes on at a Micromouse competition.
