I've accumulated a pile of interesting items that aren't quite big enough to warrant a post of their own but still seem worth passing along to our readers. The Swirling Brain sent us a link to a spoof news story titled, Valentine's Day Robot Brings World Peace. David M Wilson submitted a link to a recent sequence of Doonesbury strips with a robot theme. Fon Davis has launched a new website about a movie project he's working on, called MORAV, that involves giant robots (played by small RC robots). Maoz Ben Joseph points out some interesting pool cleaning robots. Finally, Roland Piquepaille wrote a nice blog entry on the GigaPan robot, a sort of robotic accessory for digital cameras that allows you to take very precise panoramic images.
