Researchers at Tokyo's Waseda University are testing the WAO-1 (Waseda Asahi Oral Rehabilitation Robot) designed to deliver therapeutic massages to fragile facial structures. The research team is also planning to adapt the robot for use in spas across Japan to provide relaxation and beauty massages. Trials begin in November.
