Despite a much lower new profile than the previous Grand Challenge events, the DARPA Urban Challenge has rolled ahead to the qualification phase. The actual competition will occur on Saturday 3 November at 6pm PT. You'll be able to watch a live webcast of the event on the DARPA Urban Challenge website.
