WowWee's flagship robot of its new 2008 consumer robot line is the Rovio robot. This home security robot uses Evolution Robotic's Northstar navigation technology which gives the robot pinpoint navigation capability inside a house or commercial building. It includes easy to use navigation software, accessible from any web enabled device, that lets you create and execute patrol routes for the Rovio. While executing a patrol route Rovio streams live audio and video back to you across the Internet. Rovio's sophisticated navigation technology allows it to recover easily from a disruption to its path. The device will retail for a suggested $299 and is expected to appear in Early fall of 2008.
