The annual All-Con science fiction convention is coming to Dallas, TX this weekend; Friday, March 13 through Sunday, March 15. This year, the Dallas Personal Robotics Group is teaming up with All-Con to give everyone a nice mix real and fictional robots. You can hang out with Aaron Douglas, better known as one of the Cylon "final five" and chief engineer Tyrol of Battlestar Galactica. If you prefer real robots, you can also catch one of the DPRG demonstrations, the robot petting zoo, or even bring your own robot to participate in the RoboRama contest. And if you get bored with robots, you can check out the roller derby demos by the Assassination City girls, the cool Steam Punk cosplayers, or the burlesque performances of Lady Divina or Lollie Bombs (pictured above with cylon Aaron Douglas).
