Jane's has confirmed that the Global Hawk UAV is in use over Afghanistan. The UAV was rushed into deployment from the development phase to assist in hunting down the Islamic terrorists who have been attacking the US and other countries. The Global Hawk is a high-altitude, long-endurance, robotic vehicle that recently broke records by becoming the first UAV to fly non-stop across the Pacific.
