Asimo, one of Honda's Humanoid Robots, has been upgraded and is now available for commercial use on either a daily rental or annual lease. According to Reuters and AP reports, IBM will be the first customer. IBM Japan has hired an Asimo as a receptionist on a one year contract for 20 million yen ($166,200).
