Wow, it's amazing how the term embedded seems to have changed over the years. I guess a PC (or a cray) on a chip is considered embedded these days. Cool! It's like it's not good enough if an embedded chip just has a little memory and a few I/Os. Now-a-days it has to at least be able to run Linux or Windows and have tcpip ports and pci bus or it's not a decent embedded chip. Awesome! ...and me with a stockpile of pic chips. I'm just wondering when the cost will come down enough and the availibility up enough and the software tools here enuogh for little guys like me to get to play with them?
