LEGO Delta Robots

Delta robots are cool, LEGO robots are cool, so what could be cooler than LEGO delta robots? Chris Shepherd writes

I have designed and built a robotic work cell using only Lego Mindstorms and standard Lego pieces. I think that it’s something you might like to share with your readers. This project is a continuation of a Lego Flexpicker that I completed and published a video for a couple of years ago.

To read all about what you see in the above video, check out the detailed blog posting Chris made about the project over at the Tinkernology blog. The belt is moving at 100 inches per second and the robots are moving 48 items per minute - that's about one item every 5 seconds for each robot.
