On September 17th, Microsoft announced the availability of their Robotics Developer Studio 4 Beta, as a free download from the Microsoft Robotics site. That announcement also mentioned the impending availability of a hardware reference platform for RDS, to be manufactured for Microsoft by Parallax. Parallax's implementation of the reference platform, called Eddie, is available for preorder now.
