The Swirling Brain alerted us to a cool story about robots that build other robots or new parts for themselves using a "foam synthesizer", basically a 3D print combined with a robot. He also noticed a new report on IBM's cognitive computing goals. VIA let us know about a new Mini-ITX motherboard with lots of I/O - if you've tried it out, let us know if it's any good for robotics use. Our Plastic Pals sent us a video of a pneumatically-driven quadruped robot. And, last up, a reality TV show called King of the Nerds tells us they are looking some "brilliant young robot makers" in the 21-30 age range. If you want to be on TV send them an email. Know any other robot news, gossip, or amazing facts we should report? Send 'em our way please. And don't forget to follow us on twitter.
