The Swirling Brain alerted us to a cool story about robots that build other robots or new parts for themselves using a "foam synthesizer", basically a 3D print combined with a robot. He also noticed a new report on IBM's cognitive computing goals. VIA let us know about a new Mini-ITX motherboard with lots of I/O - if you've tried it out, let us know if it's any good for robotics use. Our Plastic Pals sent us a video of a pneumatically-driven quadruped robot.
