A new technical report is available from the CMU Field Robotics Center entitled, Market-Driven Multi-Robot Exploration. The idea is to use multiple robots to explore an area quickly and efficiently by allowing them to continously negotiate with each other - sharing their plans and information to determine which robot should explore which area next.
