Transmeta Midori Linux

Transmeta has released Midori Linux version 1.0.0-beta1, a new Linux distribution designed for embedded appications needing low RAM and power consumption. While not a hard real-time OS, it does offer advantages over desktop distributions to robot experimenters who wish to try Linux. At present Midori supports only the Transmeta CPU but there is talk of porting to ARM, MIPS, and possibly others.
