The GNU Embedded Libraries (GEL) project has released version 1.3 of their libraries for the Motorola 68HC11 and 68HC12 processors. The new version adds support for more boards. GEL includes library code and examples in C and ASM designed for use with the GNU tool chain. Among the included libaries are a libc implementation; libbot which was originally designed for the MIT 6.270 board and supports SCI, IR sensors, PWM, and analog inputs; libbsp which provides low level SIO and EEPROM functions; and libebcs which provides support for EBCS board triacs, temperature/humidity sensors, and input buttons.
