Jane's reports that Lockheed Martin recently conducted a technology demonstration of their Low Cost Autonomous Attack System (LOCAAS). The LOCAAS is an small, turbojet-powered autonomous robot similar to a cruise missle that can scan for, identify, and destroy targets using sensors that include LADAR.
