A new Mercury News article talks about the increasing number of companies taking advantage of the University of Kentucky's Center for Robotics and Manufacturing Systems. The CRMS uses robotic stereolithography machines to do rapid prototyping. This allows them to quickly build three-dimensional models of almost anything from pizza crust molds to hip joints.
