A University of Washinton Press Release describes a joint project of UW, Intel, and Elite Care to develop AI Caretakers for Alzheimer's victims. The Assisted Cognition Project will use sensors throughout the home, furniture, and even clothing to monitor an indvidual's needs and offer prompts when appropriate or call for help if needed.
