Submissions of this story are begining to die down, so I think most of the links are in now. Out of all the robot stories in the news lately, the major media seem to have fixated on the AAAI Mobile robot competition and on one contestant, the Linux-based Grace. (though we did find one story on Mabel). Grace was NASA's Cool Robot of the Week, and you can read news stories about her in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, CNN, The New York Times, USA Today, Excite News, The Nando Times, Salon, even the German Spiegel, and there's also a Slashdot article with the usual lengthy discussion.
