NASA has announced a behind-the-scenes media event on Aug 5 to promote their ACES project. ACES uses an Altus UAV to fly around and through electrical storms to study them in greater detail than has been possible in the past. Expect to start seeing a few national news stories on the program shortly. In the meantime, enjoy the photos.
