ACE Associated Compiler Experts bv has created a new website to promote DSP-C usage. DSP-C is a set of extensions to the C programming language that allow efficient high-level programming of DSPs. Among the extensions provided are circular arrays, divided memory spaces, and new fixed point data types. DSP-C may be incorporated into the ISO C standard specifications in 2003 and could lead to source code portability between DSP platforms.
