Maxon has announced a new controller for small brushless motors. The controller needs a supply voltage between 5 and 24 VDC and can handle motors at up to 1 Amp continuous current. The controller has integrated motor chokes and includes direct and braking functions. Robotic applications are one of the targets of this unit.
