Posted 31 Oct 2002 at 01:11 UTC by steve Share This

Cornell University will be sponsoring a local discussion forum Nov 7 on Artificial Intelligence and its practical applications as part of Cornell's focus on Frankenstein for 2002-2003. Among the speakers will be Michael Babish, team leader of Cornell's RoboCup Team for last three years. Also participating is Hod Lipson, perhaps best known as leader of the Golem Project.

I monitor a number of sources including newsgroups, XML/RSS services, and websites for major universities and research labs. Robots.net users also submit stories using the "suggest a story" links. And we have two other editors, The Swirling Brain and Rog-a-matic who also search for stories and either forward them to me or sometimes post themselves.
