We've covered sewer bots numerous times in the past but The Swirling Brain sent us this new article with some nice photos of several of the bots. Sewer robots are used by telecom companies to pull fiber optics cables through the existing network of pipes under major cities. This eliminates the need to tear up streets and install new conduits, greatly reducing the cost of laying fiber.
