The Japanese newspaper Daily Yomiuri has an interesting interview with Yoshiaki Sakagami, Honda's chief of R & D. Among other concerns, Sakagami worries that if robots become able to do everything humans can, humans will become lazy. He is also concerned that children interacting with robots like Asimo seem unable to understand the difference between humans and robots, between the real and virtual worlds.
