Generation 5 has just put up a two part article by Chris Barron on converting a floppy drive into a simple robot. Chris was inspired by another floppy drive robot site that has been around for some time but has an incomplete set of instructions. Part 1 describes the drive system and Part 2 shows how to build the steering assembly and a simple 555-based pulse generator.
