Hydrodemolition Robot

Posted 16 Jun 2003 at 02:24 UTC by steve Share This

There's something new on the road in Augusta, Georgia; a robot that "destroys everything in its path with a crushing stream of water 15 times more powerful than a jackhammer". The robot will be ripping the concrete off of some bridges that need to be resurfaced. For the details, see the Augusta Chronicle story. The robot is an HVD-6000 Aqua Cutter made by Aquajet Systems AB.

I love those track assemblies, posted 16 Jun 2003 at 13:29 UTC by earlwb » (Master)

I really love those track assemblies that they have there. I sure wish I had a set of the electric powered tracks and motors. Now that is a great robot base.
