Sony has announced a new version of their robot pet. The updated model is half the price of original Aibo and now includes basic voice recognition and digital imaging systems. Sony has spun off a new company called the Entertainment Robot Company to handle up to 60,000 orders per month of the $1,500 robot. For more read the BBC News story.
