Russia now has its first humanoid robots. Named ARNE and ARNEA, the two robots are identical except in color. They were developed by a St. Petersburg company called New Era. Working with the St Petersburg State Technical University, the company sponsors a RoboCup team and plans on being ready to represent Russia in the humanoid league.
