The October issue of Wired includes an article on the latest models of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) being tested by the military for a variety of jobs. Because of the success of UAVs in recent years, the Pentagon has decided to spend 10 billion dollars over the next seven years, replacing many expensive manned air vehicles with lower cost UAVs that are remotely piloted or autonomous.
