A new CNN Technology article offers an overview of efforts by NASA's Yoseph Bar-Cohen to promote development of Electroactive Polymers (EAP) as artificial muscles. Bar-Cohen has long proposed an arm wrestling contest that pits a human against a robot arm powered by EAP muscles.
