Notes:

I have a lot of experience in electronics (FCC License), programming (Assembler/C/Modula 2/Pascal/Sun Java Cert), telecommunications (30+ factory schools), and networking (Cisco CCNP). However, the only robots I have ever built were little B.E.A.M. experiments for my daughter's grade school projects. I've never worked with a microcontroller - - but am hoping to do so someday when I have time. I am opening a computer gaming center, and am interested in a robot mascot for the center. I am here looking for ideas and the capabilities of the technology.
