It has been almost three years! Here's my entry: I was unable to obtain the
necessary funding to get LivingCreatures going back in 2004. I have spent the
last 3 years in aerospace, but will be returning to my roots.

I'm putting out an open call to any talented individuals that are in the proper
financial and educational state to try a robotics start-up company. Please email
me @ kiryu69@yahoo.com if you're interested.

So, the humanoid has finally been delivered to the USC Interaction Lab. Final pictures
can be found here.

2 new pictures of the humanoid I am developing are available
here. All joints are functional with
analog feeback scaled to match pulse width command
positions. It can smile and frown too :-)

The head for our humanoid has come back from rapid
prototyping and we have sanded and primered the main
shell. No word yet on the final color, but it is
interesting to look at none the less. I just like how
close rapid prototyping is able to get to the actual 3d
CAD model, really remarkable stuff!

We have made further developments on the USC humanoid
project. The head design has been finished by our artist
and I am now working out the internals so that it can be
sent off for rapid prototyping. It should be finished in
less than 2 weeks and will take about a week to get back.
The hands are also designed and ready to send with the
head. You can check it out at the bottome of the page on
the link below:

Humanoid Robot
By the way, we haven't named him and I never anticipated a
problem with this, but suggestions would be great since we
have been unable to decide on one yet!
