Notes: I am still in the reading, thinking, and dreaming stage of building robots. I have amassed some parts, and lurked for about a year in comp.robotics.misc. I am a programmer by trade and lifestyle. I have been interested in robots since my mom took me to see War of the Worlds in 1980 and outside the theater (in a library) this guy, Jim Lawyer, had a display of a bunch of homemade radio-controlled robots based mostly on popular movie robots. I was completely entranced and have remained so to this day.
