Notes:

I've been in the robotics hobby since high school(1975). I've built several robots over the years. Some are wheeled , mechanical contraptions and bipeds. I started a new robot club here in Pittsburgh a few years ago.

Previously I was also part of the HCC Robotica group in Holland while I was working overseas there for Lucent Technologies. There I helped start the robotics group from the beginning. I organized workshops and developed microcontroller projects which members could use for their robots. We also started our first Sumo Robot competition.

I'm currently working on a couple of robot projects. One is the RoboSwarm project, which our club is building. You can see the latest info about RoboSwarm on our club's website. Another is a biped robot which will be my 3rd design. I have some recurring robot projects, such as a hack for the RAD robot.

I've been involved in electronic/computer engineering for 25+ yrs beginning with the 8080 to the modern 64bit processors.I've been involved in design of multi-processor systems for various applications, such as, simulators, telecom, and scientific. Also, I have extensive FPGA development experience in designing high-performance computing platforms.
