Haven't built robots in a while - but it did all start with a Big Trax at about age 10. It did both MORE and LESS when we were done with it ;). Later in life, I was pleased to work with Tom Hansen, Dan Grimaldi, Suresh Kanon, and some others in the Georgia Tech Aerial Robotics Competition Team - autonomous helicopters, etc etc. Not so much fun as an all analog bot, but with a motorola 68k and some good programming in pattern recognition, it did a good job controlling and locating it's target...
