Notes: I am a 36-year-old daydreamer with a long interest in hobby robotics. My first & only robot was build about 17 years ago. It ran on a 3-wheel base powered by windshield wiper motors. It had one arm, the size of my arm, which has 4 axis of movement: shoulder, elbow, wrist, & gripper. The robot is controlled by the Motorola 68HC11 microprocessor. Before I really finished the project, I headed off to college, & now my creation sits in the garage, patiently waiting for me to finish the good thing I started! Unfortunately for my little friend, I am thinking of building a new robot, before finishing the old one. That is when I found this wonderful resource. One thing is for certain. Robotic hobbyists have come a long way in the past 20 years!!
