Notes: I am a researcher in the field of artificial societies. I am interested in the role of artificial agents in human societies. I have a small group of investigation in this area in El Colegio de San Luis, a public research institute in social sciences in San Luis Potosi, Mexico. I have two grants of the Mexican Council of Science and Technology to develop my research. I am one of the autors (another is Dr. Adolfo Lopez Paredes of the University of Valladolid, Spain) of the book: "Modelado multi-agente de sistemas socioeconómicos:Una introducción al uso de la inteligencia artificial en la investigación social".

Hello:

My name is Antonio Aguilera. I am a mexican researcher in the social sciences area. My main interest by robotics is academic and practique. I build models of artificial societies on urban environments using multiagents systems, cellular automata and Petri nets.

I am intereted in the behavior of human and artificial beings. I am very interested in motiviation mechanism on artificial agents. I think that this is an important skill for the future of robots. An autonomus Robot, which is capable of performance several task using motivation, could have a better performance in hostiles environment that a robot without motivation.

If one of you are interested in my work, please send me a message aaguilera@colsan.edu.mx.
