I am avionics engineer specializing in weather radars. Over the past 25 years I have built several robots; an early vaccuum cleaner, and both a Hero 2000 and a Hero I. Since my job is about sensors, my interest has always gone in that direction. So I have built several sets of air based sonar systems and several IR ranging systems from scratch. I am somewhat interested in "light weight threads" in vision processing.
