I'm 27. Spent my highschool years playing with electronics and build various BEAM robots. I'm currently building a robot that's driven by an Arduino.

I've added a PIR Sensor to B1-66ER. This gives it a bit more interaction with the 'people world'.
At the moment, I've just got a Sentry mode going. It sits nice and still until it seems movement. Once detected it turns on the headlight, and looks about.
I've ordered the proto shield, so once it comes in I can start moving out of the prototype phase.
Pictures and video to come.

And a photo if it: http://digitalhaunt.net/bot/b166er.jpg
I added the 'headlight', and almost totally recoded it. also new, a front bump switch.
Next up, add some photoresistors so the headlight only comes on when the ambient light is low. I noticed the ultrasonic didn't work nearly as well in the dark.
Should have some better quality video up tomorrow when I get my hands on a usb cable ; )
I've got a lot of work to do, mostly programming. at the moment, B1-66ER moves forward until something is in front of him, and then turns clockwise until it's not there anymore, and continues forward.
My next step is to have him turn X amount, read the ultrasonic sensor, turn Y and take another reading. It will then compare the two, and move in the direction with the higher value (THe most distance).
This is quite the challenge for me, but I'll get there.
Here is a link to a short video of what he can do now http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GwxM2dA4IlI
