Notes:
While student at Montana State University researched smart sensor networks, ad-hoc communication for robots, fuzzy logic sensor fusion, and robots in education. Automated the teleoperated "Tank/2" robotic platform. Designed a Smart Sensor Networking Module and SensorBus Small RTOS to interface various sensors and perform preprocessing on a Linux OS pc based robot. Designed the Montana State University ECE Rover, a small inexpensive robot platform that can be used in education. Original design had sensor modules to illustrate a concept in one lab session to students. Robot pcb is compatible with processors that can be programmed in Basic, Java, C/C++, and Motorola 68hc12 assembly. This means that the robot is accessible from high school students and Boy Scouts to college master's students. http://www.coe.montana.edu/ee/rmaher/ee101/ECEbot/default.htm Currently work for a machine vision integrator.
