I am a life long fan of robotics, not in the least because I grew up in the Danbury Connecticut area, the home town of the Unimate, the first true industrial robot. By trade I am a software engineer. My main contribution to robotics is a couple of web articles and a largely unsuccessful open-source robotics project at The Rossum Project. Currently, I am looking at algorithms for the mobile robot navigation problem.
