Notes:

I'm a student at U of M, studying for Ph.D. with robotics and control specialty. My main research topic is "distribtued manipulation", but I'm interested in general robotics topics such as navigation, SLAM, sensorless manipulation and so on. I presented several papers at IEEE ICRA/IROS conferences. I'm trying to build a toy mobile robot just for hobby. Maybe I'll use OOpic for a simple controller.
