This is my second entry. I would first like to than
STEVE for certifying me as apprentace. I am currently
trying to figure out HTML. I am going to start a new web
page to show my robot pojects and it should be ready in a
few days. If you read my entry form yeasterday you probably
saw that I was looking for ways to keep my robots as
inexspenive as posiable. If you Know any places online to
get good parts cheap then e-mail me at
ROBERTH9000@hotmail.com. As you can see I keep my user
name mostly the same all across the net. I do this so that
I do not get mixed up. I going to go work on my new web
page now. Roberth9000

This is my first entry. I joined just last saterday. Last
Thursday I finshed building a $150 doller walking robot
kit. I have not yet been able to test it yet because I
have not received my Basic Stamp programing cable yet. If
I can get it to work after I receive the cable I will start
building my first (non-kit) robot. In my design I am using
a hamster play ball as the body of the robot. When done it
will use 4 IRPD vision kits (1 front, 1 back, 1 front
angling down to search for stairs, and 1 back angling down
to search for steps),4 wisker sensors (for what the IRPDS
miss) ,a OEM Basic Stamp 2E, a dual H bridge motor diver, 2
small motors, and 2 2" foam tires. I have it so that the
wheels only skick out of the bottom about 1/2 inch. I
would realy like it if someone who is reading this would
swich me from observer to apprentice so that I can post my
plans online so that I can get ideas from others on how it
should work and how to keep it as inexspenive as posable.
